Planimetric data (feature classes in Planimetrics_City_2015 feature dataset) were first updated by Kucera. The GIS team subsequently worked to refine these planimetric data layers in preparation for calculating the Stormwater Program Fee. This involved preparation of a Billable Impervious features layer by June 10, 2016. As billable impervious features are a subset of impervious features, a separate data layer was compiled on July 11, 2016.Criteria used to filter impervious features are documented in the GIS team's "One Note". Please contact the GIS team if you would like access to this documentation.*11/1/18: The City acquired updated planimetric data from M-NCPPC based on February 2017 State of Maryland orthophotos. The City's existing planimetric datasets are more accurate within the City boundaries in most cases. However, features that lie outside of the City but still within the Maximum Expansion Limits were found to be out-of-date. The new M-NCPPC data was pasted in to supplement the City's existing data in these areas, paying careful attention to features that overlap the City boundary so as to avoid duplicate and missing features. The feature class was renamed from 2015 to 2017 |
